It doesn't matter what subjects I do as long as I get enough credits?
You'll still need to do the subjects that are best for you to get the job you want or help you move to a higher level programme. The credits that you earn for one programme of learning will only count towards another related programme of learning.
It's the SCQF that awards qualifications nowadays?
No. Awarding and accrediting qualifications is still the job of organisations like the SQA, universities, colleges and regulatory statutory and professional bodies.
I want to do a Degree so the Framework's no use to me. It's only for job-related vocational courses?
No. The Framework covers university qualifications too. Many of which are very career-related and vocational courses themselves aren't all job-related. You can do them to get more fun out of your hobby or to help your community.

Now I get awarded an SCQF level 6 not six Highers?
No. The Framework describes different qualifications at the same level. It means those different qualifications can be just as hard to achieve and demand the same level of skill or understanding. You are still awarded Highers.
Getting enough credits means I can go to university?
No. You get credit points for the amount of learning you have to do to earn a qualification. But it's up to the college or university to decide if that learning is relevant to the new course you want to do.
Qualifications like SVQs and Highers are called Level 6s?
No, they're still SVQs and Highers. Level 6 indicates their position in the Framework. It means the different qualifications can be just as hard to achieve and demand the same level of skill or understanding.
I've got a job so the Framework's no use to me. It only covers schools, colleges and universities?
No. It can cover learning that you can do in the workplace and in the community. And in the future it will cover awards given by professional and statutory bodies. That means you can use it to get better qualified to do your job or get promotion or change career completely.
I need to get as many credits as possible and qualifications at the highest level possible?
Not always. Over your lifetime you will learn things at different levels that will earn you different numbers of credit points. When you've got your Degree in Engineering (SCQF level 9) you might want to do Higher Spanish (SCQF level 5) for a hobby or so you can work in South America.
